If Dustin Peterson hadn't gotten hurt at spring training, would've likely been up and playing LF while Kemp on DL.

Jason Motte to be activated today at Triple-A Gwinnett, #Braves' Snitker said. Could pitch today or tomorrow.

Mauricio Cabrera continues to ramp things up...expected to throw a bullpen tomorrow.

Haha. No one throws their 4th pitch 15% of the time and relievers don't even have a 4th pitch. If he was half as good as you make him out to be, he'd be a starter.

Are you being serious? I can't believe that I'm seeing this posted. Many relievers have 4 pitches. Not as many as back in the 80's & 90's but they still do. And, 15% or close to that number is common for any pitcher throwing their 4th pitch. You act like there's no such thing.

I should know because he's my cousin & I personally seen him pitch as late as last season. Why would it just because he's good make him a starter?

That makes absolutely no sense. Many solid pitchers are just bullpen guys & not starters. You must not know enough about baseball there buddy to say those things you just posted. Thanks.

Show us one reliever in Major League Baseball that wasn't a long man or part time starter (so under 100 innings) that threw four different pitches at least 15% of the time.

Your cousin could be good. That wasn't what Brown was saying. He's saying if Devan Watts can throw four pitches consistently for strikes he'd be a starter

Bold above. That's not what I meant. I said his 4th pitch in which he just added last season is a changeup that's thrown 15% of the time. Not that all 4 pitches are thrown 15% of the time.

Having 4 solid pitches doesn't automatically make you a starter either guys. Where's that assumed rule coming from? There are quite a few good relievers that have 4 pitches but are pitching put of the bullpen in both the MLB & minors. Thanks.
