Did you see the stat they showed, i think it was since 05, he has 117 assists, 2nd was Alfonso Soriano with 85, and hes a left fielder so his throws are shorter and easier to make.

No. I didn't get to see the game, but it doesn't surprise me. I remember him nailing Luis Gonzalez twice at home plate in one game back in his Braves days. I've never completely understood why he gets blasted by Braves fans. I've always liked him. He is what he is as a player, but he always showed up and never complained. It was kind of sad to hear of him getting booed tonight.

I also think "hey soriano kinda sucks let's run on him" is a factor. I remember Manny used to surprise with some OF assist numbers.

Josh Reddick and Bryce Harper are the other two regulars in the conversation with that arm. Parra and Ankiel, too.
