The first Thursday and Friday really took off a couple years ago (?) when they started staggering the start times and using multiple TV networks so that from about 2:30 EST on you can just sit there and do nothing but watch the last 5-10 minutes of game after game after game for hours. We get to see all the great endings now. I feel like I've watched hours and hours of nothing but crunch time elmination basketball today. Fantastic.

Totally worth skipping class IMO

Unless I overlooked someone, I'm truly the only person that picked Carolina in the VN contest. A bit of a homer pick and the odds aren't in their favor for winning it all, but I can't believe that NOBODY else picked them. I noticed a couple Duke picks, a Virginia, some Iowa/Tenn picks, but by and large people went with Louisville/Michigan State/Arizona/Florida/Kansas.
