Over half their games I have seen them play all 40 minutes. Other than UT, I know Michigan more than any other team.
They can drive the ball better than people give them credit. Staukas and LeVert can shoot, but if one of them is off Michigan can be contained from deep. Walton (the frosh PG) will be good but he can't carry the offense yet.
Two things:
1) If Glenn Robinson III is feeling it, UM is the best team in the country. When he is aggressive and taking the ball to the basket, you are screwed. However, he is so hot/cold you don't know what to expect. The Maymon matchup scares me. If GR3 is on early, except a lot of Armani. If he's off, UT has a huge mismatch because he can't guard the post.
2) Michigan's biggest weakness besides rebounding is athletic wing players than have the ability to hit 3's. Gary Harris killed them this season. Roy Devyn Marble from Iowa had his way. LeVert and Staukas don't want to foul so they don't play physical. McRae and Richardson can score 15 each if they are aggressive.
But if they go 14-30 from deep it's over. But if you guard off ball hard, deny the ball on screens, and limit their penetration (easier said than done) Michigan doesn't have a plan B on offense (like UT actually does).
If the game is called tight (assuming Stokes plays smart) then that favors UT. Michigan has nothing after Morgan and Horford in the paint.
