That was my point about BJ when I said 130. You shouldn't have someone in front of a hitter like Freeman who strikes out 130 times a year, unless they draw about 90 walks. Otherwise it's asinine. Then you factor in the few dozen more strikeouts BJ will have and it absolutely blows my mind.

CJ would be a better 2 hole hitter because of better contact and backside preference to (hopefully) hit behind Heyward. You're not doing any hit and runs with BJ's bum ass up there.

This...............it blows my mind why Fredi doesnt have him in this spot

The guy (I'll assume) is a .285 type hitter and hits backside. Is this not your perfect #2?

It is in my baseball philosophy. Either a pure speedster like Schafer, then versatile power/speed/lefty like Heyward who likes to pull.

Or force Heyward into #1 hole because we paid BJ too much $$$ to sit him, and bat your backside hitting aforementioned Hitter in CJ

Hit.behind.your.runners....

I speak, he hits. Thatta kid CJ300.

Frediot, move him to 2nd please. Heyward, Johnson, Freeman, J Upton, UGGLA, Catcher, BJ, Simmons.

Pay me half his salary, I'll write the card.
