I play with friends, $1 chip at their house with my chips. I'm always the bank.
Gambling is illegal in Alabama so our casinos can only have "bingo" slots. I hate slots.
No idea, ask the Braves minor league gurus lol. I would imagine yes.
Yeah Hale will probably give up some hits. He did very well in his 2 Major League starts last season, but is probably more suited as a bullpen arm. His ceiling is 4/5th starter or bullpen guy. He had a 6.62 ERA in the Spring and had a 3.22 ERA at AAA last season. He has the ability to have some great starts like last year, but he is also susceptible to the possibility of some pretty bad starts, especially since he's a rookie.
That's cool. We used to play quite a bit at work, nobody ever put in more than $20-$40 and we'd play whatever game came up. Dealer's choice. Three Card Guts. Seven Card No Peek, Follow the B!tch. Baseball.
Good times, but nobody ever wants to play for money anymore. Just spades or rummy.
I used to be in a free league here in town, we played every weeknight and we would win free bar tabs or BWW gift cards when we played there on Wednesdays. We would play dealer's choice before and after the tournaments. We played the ones you mentioned and pineapple and razz and Omaha, i love Omaha hi/lo. The last season before it shut down we played HORSE all season and i won first place that season. I miss that league.
We usually start off buying between $20-40 and have been known to put in up to 200-300. the biggest winner usually cashes out around 350ish
