Ok maybe i didn't mean they want to shoot as much as i meant they have to because nobody can get to the rim. And that is for all the reasons you said.

I think the biggest issue in recent years is that defenses have gotten more sophisticated about how they rotate and help each other out, and the players just aren't good enough offensively to keep up. Add in the AAU ball not teaching fundamentals that everyone complains about and college BB is pretty grim these days.

Mist of the times that i watch it, which isn't very much, all i see is a bunch of passing back and forth about the arc for 35 seconds and a bad shot at the buzzer because nobody can get it inside.

You're right about the shot clock. When 95% of the basketball you watch is the NBA, you kind of develop a feel for when the shot clock is winding down. When I'm watching college ball, all the time I'll see teams just passing it around the three point line and think they need to hurry up and get their offense going if they're hoping to get a decent shot, only to look down and see that there's still 15-20 seconds left of the shot clock.

Amazing that we got something significant for Tommy Hanson. I remember not watching his last few starts with us because he sucked so bad

Utah State vs Tennessee was moved to Sunday night. I thought Utah State (all division I schools in Utah) weren't allowed to play on Sundays? I guess they worked out a way around that rule?

So did they move Boomsday or are the two events going to be happening at the same time? If they're going to overlap, it's going to SUCK. If they moved it, then no big deal.

I read earlier that the fireworks have been moved to Saturday.

Cool. We always grab a spot on the wall in G-10 early in the morning for Boomsday and then come back and tailgate all afternoon/evening. That would have been off the table if they were having the FB game on the same day.

Just went to the Lids website to buy one of these hats the Braves are wearing tonight. I've always just bought hats at the store, and I probably need to avoid the website in the future before it becomes a black hole for my money. SOOO many cool hats.
