Atmosphere at LNS: Like and Dislike?

I think the fact that we had won series and won SEC championship caused a lack of participation. It was crazy how our fans left in the 7th-8th like the plaque was coming. Almost embarrassing. On Saturday, I had to move at one point because I thought I had my phone reading NegaVols messages off of here. People were trashing our coaches and players, not mine. Couldn't take any more. Had to go take a break before I said anything I would regret.
Really sad that these morons voiced their stupidity vs keeping their ignorance to themselves. The older I get, the less patience I have with NegaVols and folks that are always looking at the glass being half empty. Any one that has any complaints with this team or coaching staff has some real issues.

It was a lot hotter than I was expecting on Sunday. I am a scalded dog. Beet red. I wonder if it zapped the crowd a little? Felt like the team needed a push from us at times and things weren’t quite up to standard. Did anyone else feel that way or am I imagining things?
I was only there on Thursday night due to other obligations, so can’t comment on Fri or Sat but but felt the crowd on Thursday was very subdued. I ran into another fan who felt the same way. Not really sure why....

Yeah, some of them were stupidly rough.

They really aren't gonna like it if we rest and experiment these last 4 games. The hay is quite literally in the barn, I'm not sure what there is to freak out over.

I’m quite positive that if we do not make Omaha there will be calls to fire Vitello the next day by the very vocal minority. It’s just how things are with most D1 P5 fanbases that see any sort of success.

Sadly, you’re probably right. The “legions of the miserable“ are very loud spewing their ignorance. The good news is the reasonable, loyal, and passionate fans far outweigh the NegaVols!

Amazing how many people just get on a bandwagon and don't even understand the sport . Those people can be cringe worthy . .

My son and I made the trip down for all three games. Thursday was definitely mellow. I chalk it up to finals still Friday, and a more local “regular” crowd. Friday was fantastic. Lots of offense and the crowd was vocal. Saturday was kinda blah.

But Saturday had a lot going against it. Hot, already won series, already won conference. Not to be “that guy,” but it was kinda just a bonus game.

And I’m sure it’s been discussed as nauseum elsewhere that I haven’t seen, but it seemed a little uncanny how many 3rd strike looking the boys had that day.
