What happened last time we faced Malzahn's offense?
Have Darren McFadden or Felix Jones been granted eligibilty to play for Auburn? If not, I'm thoroughly unconcerned about the offense Friday Night Lights will put on the field.

Well, I was wrong about Myles Jr. So that's a good start. Is he going to be only big name surprise of the day? Very very likely.

IF we get Richardson and Teague to go with Myles then I won't feel too bad at all. It won't be the great day we might have thought a few weeks ago, but its not horrible either.

doesn't do you any good when you whiff on all of them.

Exactly!...

why are people beating up on the OP? You have to be one heck of an A-hole kool-aid drinker to think things are not going to suck around here if this day doesn't change in a hurry.

The difference is CLK took a gamble and went for the elite players and Auburn is settling for above average players. I like the way CLK has gone about this whole process. He wants the best. In the words of Coach O "we are Tennessee, we only want top players." We will be fine.

Keep believing the "only going after elite players" crap. Every good football team has a core foundation of three and four star guys that hold it all together.

Most of those so called "above average players" that Auburn are getting will contribute to making one heck of a good football team if coached properly.

Some of you are putting way to much stock in this "only going after elite players" stuff.

They may very well go after them, but that don't mean they get them. There has to be a balancing act in there some where and those "above average" players will make the difference. Sure spend the time and money to get the elite guys but somebody better have a back up plan when it becomes obvious that we can't fill our roster with "elite players".

I just checked Rival's realtime recruiting rankings... Thank God for Miss St. and Kentucky or... (I can't say it).

All world recruiting staff or not. Were taking it on the chin today. I expected as much, sucks to be right.

I disagree. Highly. There's still 3-4 elite guys we can land and we've already stolen one guy from the defending NCs and our big rival. We would have NEVER landed the Richardsons or Lacys of the world if Fulmer was still here, let alone get visits or have them consider coming. Kiffin's done fine in the TWO MONTHS he's been coach.

Fulmer is gone and unless you've had your head in the sand he and his staff did have a top ten class lined up by all accounts. Your assertion that he or the staff could not or would not have landed the Richardsons or Lacys of the world are absurd.

At any rate this has nothing to do with Fulmer other than the fact that we are and have lost some top rated players since his departure.

Its not about Fulmer, its about Kiffin and everyone needs to stop falling back on the same ole "its Fulmers fault" bs. Not everything is gonna go right for this staff and when does not, its not the end of the world. However the deflection onto Fulmer when it does go wrong is getting old.
