In the recruiting game, you'd better have some above average guys ready to sign with you--kids like LB Nelson--or you're going to end up with thin classes like this one, sometimes. I'm a fan of LK and this staff---but the idea that the Vols can chase only the super-blue chips when EVERY school in the south, practically, has a stout head coach and staff, etc., is a little naive. I would especially take above average (3-star) linemen--we've signed a bunch of top OL prospects in recent years and they've mostly proved to be duds. This class will be OK--some nice LBs and DBs, which you want; Sykes ought to be a player, and we'll see what happens with the line. Linemen will be a priority next year.

I don't give a crap who Fulmer and his previous staff could have gotten: They absolutely SUXED as coaches--except for Chavis, and for all the crap he took from the boards we see where he landed--and did not know how to coach kids up. Fulmer had turned into a big, fat, hand-clapping loser. I don't know how LK will do, but it was past time to dump the fulminator.

until the product on the field falls short under kiffin, no one should say anything. people wanted fulmer gone and they got it. they wanted coach O and Monte and they got it. some of you all are NEVER happy. no matter what happens, poeple will always say they want better.
