Auburn basketball

Yes and that automatically means he'll do it again, at a worse basketball school where fans don't give a flip.

Well, I'm not sure it's a worse basketball school. And he's got the fans buying in, just like he did at UT. New facilities, he's recruiting at a high level. He's already the 3rd best coach in the league without even coaching a game at Auburn.

UT was in the top 15 attendance wise even before Pearl, and Auburn plays in a glorified high school gym.

I don't need to familiarize a UT fan with the Buzz years.

Prior to Pearl, UTK hadn't gone to an E8 and only had 3 s16 appearances (which Pearl doubled in his time at UT). UT may have been in the top 15 in attendance on paper, but everybody in Kville knows about the "black curtains".

Auburn is almost a mirror image of UT prior to Pearl getting there (with one more s16, as a matter of fact and more notable NBA alums), and this time around, Pearl's name has way more cache'.

Arguing which midget is taller is splitting hairs, I think.

The point was UT fans would still show up and wanted to support the team and supported the program way more than Auburn fans supported theirs.

You can call it arguing over which midget was taller all you want, but UT fans supported their suck teams way better than Auburn supported their suck teams.

Im just saying that there's people who think he cant turn Auburn into a force. I think they will be within the next 2 years.

That's got nothing to do with taking him back at UT. I don't think he'll turn Auburn into a force and I would take him back over who we have.

Is Cal sweating yet? I bet he is. It's no longer two horses and a bunch of also rans in the SEC anymore.

LOL, OK. CBP is a very good coach, but the best coach can't overcome the talent disparity between Kentucky and Auburn.

Cal has had the most talented team on the floor every game since 2010, he still can't manage to win them all.

Pearl makes his life much harder, as he can't simply skate through a terrible SEC anymore while splitting with Florida.

It's cute how much you seem to really want Pearl to succeed. You need yet another team to root for or something?

Hate to break it to you ace, but SEC regular season games are the least of Kentucky's concerns. 6 straight wins in the last 2 weeks of March and the first week of April are what really matter.

Lulz. Ok, well, until Cal can convince the Selection Committee to simply give him a 1 seed without playing the regular season, Auburn now matters to him.

That's one of the most ridiculous posts I've read on this board in a while man.

I like Pearl, and he's a hell of a coach. I think it's cute how blatantly you're whistling past the graveyard.

Yes because it's fact we'll never win again and we should just shutdown the program.

Meanwhile, you should probably spend more time worrying about your own underachieving coach. Oh wait, now I get why you have such a thing for Pearl.
