Auburn isn't even remotely close to being as poorly managed and run as we are, and they likely never will be. Tennessee athletics is world-class at incompetence. You have to try to screw things up as badly as we have over the past 10 years.

Look at the ups and downs Michigan State goes thru but Dantonio is still there.. They lose on freak plays and a sometimes get blown out but they hang with him.

Their admin also has a totally different perception of their football program and different expectations than a place like Auburn or Tennessee. Michigan St is a basketball school and not a historical football power. They are OK with the last 3 years because of what Dantonio did from 2010-15.

No they just have an administration who only cares about making money, and they don’t give a damn about ripping off their loyal fan base... honestly I think they should be publicly tarred and feathered in the streets of Knoxville for what these ****s have done to our beloved program.

Yes. Although with each new year I am trying to guess if the program is going to burn out or slowly fade away. Are we at tweaker stage or slowly sipping everclear?

I don't really understand why he's in the hot seat. They had a let down year this season for sure but damn. He helped them win a natty as oc then took them to within one possession of a natty as head coach, and was one win away from he playoffs last year. Give the man a break...and this coming from a Tennessee fan. That's bad

I have yet to hear a good explanation how auburn paid for cam neewburn and publicly got away with it. I saw so may stories about other players being paid and absolutely nothing EVER became of it. Auburn's lawyers must re-write the books in time to get them off. I got them rated about as low as whale *%#&. If that happened to UT, like a BBQ, we would still be on probation.

Every admin "only cares about making money" ultimately. The difference between Tennessee and other admins is that a lot of other admins are simply more competent. Tennessee has admin problems that are only rivaled by Texas, and Texas appears to have finally found a coach in Tom Herman, so their problems will be under the surface as long as he's winning.
