Ok so here's the story of why I posted.

I live in Lebanon TN which is the home of Cumberland University. One of my friends from there called me and proceeded to tell me the following. He has a professor who claims that a good friend of his works for the NY times. This friend has been calling him with regular updates on the story, and claims that a lengthy document has surfaced that helps solidify the case. My friend says that the professor emailed them a link to this document... however it will be tonight before he gets out of class and can email it to me.


If this turns out not to add up.... at least I took a shot...... id be the man if it did lol. The professor says it will hit the news within two weeks.

also I think my spelling of scandel, scandle, scandal has become more of a scandal than the original scandel.

The friend of a professor of a friend has a document that proves fraud, and you are maybe expecting an email from your friend that proves this.

...As far as internet rumors go, sounds legit.

In all seriousness, it would be neat if this turns out to be true. I still don't expect the NCAA to do a thing about all this mess, if they do anything at all, for years.

Maybe i should have asked about the info on here instead of made a statement..... dont have to be sarcastic.... i stated very early on that it was shaky.... but if its right i didn't want to pass....

This is why Dooley let Wright sign with UA. The numbers weren't working out and he knew this would be a good loop hole to get him into Tennessee.

I still don't think we've seen the end of the pay-to-play scandal. There is too much smoke. I won't be surprised if something else comes out before the summer months.
