I wonder if it might a little. When the SEC is on top, I'd like to think that it lifts all boats some. Tough to prove but I think it drives more competitive interest from recruits.

It may lift all boats a couple of inches, but it lifts Auburn's boat about eight feet, just like it lifted Alabama's and Florida's and LSU's. It's just dumb to root for a team we recruit against furiously to win a national championship.

I don't believe in SEC bragging rights because for one that adds more recruiting competition. Recruits don't look at Tennessee because the SEC just won a championship. Screw all the other schools. I don't like either team so I'll pull for none. GO VOLS

It always helps to keep the SEC on top no matter which sorry, no good for nothing team is playing. We want the SEC highly thought of in 2012, when we, the real UT makes a run at the National Championship.:yes:
