You have to admit Tenn, if that was a conservative everyone would be questioning whether or not the guy is a racist.
I don't know that. Has there been a similar example where a candidate didn't utter a single word that was in the same universe as racist but was questioned about being racist b/c of the actions of a few people he knew?
There's an inordinate amount of emphasis on people in Obama's church and some guys he's known, but very little recognition of the many, many other high-profile supporters he has. People are free to think he's got some plan to promote blacks once he gets in office, but I happen to think that's silly and unproductive.
Not everyone....if I vote for McCain, it won't be because I am voting against Obama. I think that I will end up voting for McCain...but I am still undecided....
I was talking about kpt who hasn't said a word in any of the political discussions and then brings up my support of Fulmer when attacking me here.

I'll have to see if I can find it but in one of his speeches, Obama made a statement that those criticizing him (in particular looking into his associations) would be practicing divisive politics along the lines of race, class, etc.
In particular he said he knows the Republicans will do this. To me, he is stereotyping Reps as race dividers and preconditioning people to treat any criticisms against him as having a racial or class element.
Says a person who came into a political discussion and attacked me personally and my personal views on Fulmer, which had nothing to do with this thread.
LOL you're funny.
There is a double standard when it comes to these kind of things... I'm no Trent Lott fan, but look what happened to him, and Obama has defended the peole who are racist and a lot more than he ever did.
