'24 AZ EDGE Elijah Rushing (Oregon commit)

I think, imo, the point is why do you care so much that you go on and on about It?
I’m a believe it when I see it type, but if someone else on here believes “insiders” or if they don’t believe “insiders”, either way i give zero cares. I don’t try to convince anyone to believe or not to believe. Why do you care if someone wants to be positive and choose to believe?

I don't. I just know that when these commitments go sideways, the whole board melts down. Also, people keep responding to me...

Oh, so you didn’t make a non-provoked snarky “I find it hilarious” post? You are only innocently responding to others? Again, why is it so important to you if others believe something you don’t on here?

I agree. I'm sure not being overly pushy is helpful with some recruits, but in an era where most kids don't decommit after their initial commitment, it seems to leave us watching as they commit to the next school they visit (who happens to be one of the pushy ones). If we get the majority of the kids we're expected to, it'll still be a really, really nice class.

I love the posters that think we're missing out on recruits because we're the only school not operating like Vito Corleone.

Cue the meltdown when Rushing commits to Arizona. If they did in fact offer him an insane amount of money, then there is nothing we can do. Made a good attempt, but can't beat family and money.

Insiders (fake, real or somewhere in between) make this thread great. Y'all generate excitement during slow times in sports. Up until a week or so I thought we might have just been a hat on the table. Shows that the UT brand is spreading back out west and we're back to big boy recruiting. FINALLY

Yeah, nobody knows 100% and that's the beauty of recruiting.
This! That’s the fun of it. If you just want facts just watch commitments.

I get the nil pckge they offered (rumored) and his older brother, come on… if he picks zona, no way that sticks through signing day….

I think family+money could be enticing
Yea until you are living the day-to-day life of losing, 3/4 empty stadium, and literally no football history. It’s like choosing Kansas football over Florida State football b/c a family member attends there and they gave you more money.

And not to mention, the conference will be extinct soon.

Hope he's a Vol, but location (Arizona) doesn't suck either.

Plus he might get a good payday and get to play with his brother. All in all, seems pretty great to me. I get his thought process, even if personally I'd want to be on a better team. Different strokes for different folks, and whatnot.
