There are some people in this thread that don't have close connections to their parents, their brothers (I don't have a sister, can't speak to it) or their state, and I don't think they get it. I'm not judging anyone here, but I'm just saying they don't get the pull of xyz. Not everything is dollars and cents or losing and winning. If you're confident in yourself and your abilities, you might be more willing to gamble on yourself. And that's completely and totally understandable.

After med school and residency and fellowship, I gambled on myself for my family and where I wanted to live. It was a losing proposition at the time and now it's about to come up big. Maybe I'm a little biased, and I get that. But anyone saying this guy is strictly looking for money or is too attached to family or whatever, I think you might be missing the bigger picture in this kid's life. I'd love for him to be a part of our football team. But he may have other priorities. And it's going to be *fine* for both parties regardless of who he picks.

Those posters with “some kind of inside track” are literally just reciting what AP and Matt Ray have said on VQ for a week. We had a great OV and gave him something to think about, but no one knows what he’s going to do. If the staffs haven’t even been told, how would the usual suspects with their eye roll emojis and champagne bottles have a dang clue. They aren’t plugged into these kids individually.

I haven’t commented on this recruitment and know nothing about it. I can guarantee you that when I do have/share information, it does not come from that human Easter egg at VQ.
