'24 AZ EDGE Elijah Rushing (Oregon commit)

So I may be completely off here but:
1)Been in contact with the staff today.
2)his brother was a walk on at Florida. Obviously going out of state isn’t a problem for the family. He is at Arizona now.
3)maybe wrong but I can’t imagine NIL is a problem for Tennessee either.
4) development I think and opportunity to get to the next level I think would be better at Tennessee as well.

Now he could go to Arizona but I can’t see it being the best decision if he wants to play football at the highest level in college and the pros

There’s a chance an Arizona kid may go to his instate school?

This doesn’t surprise me in the least

Time will tell. Would be a great get if Tennessee lands him.

Isn't this young man's brother a safety at Arizona? That most likely will be a factor it has worked in Tennessee favor with brothers The Herrings and most likely the Spillmans.

Let’s look at wins. Beat a below average team in SD St, beat an average team in ND St, beat a terrible Colorado team, beat a good but not great UCLA team and barely beat a terrible AZ St team. Don’t see a lot there that makes me think they are going to be good.
Outside of Cal, that beat everyone they were supposed to and upset a top 10 team in a rebuilding year coming off an 1-11 year while being competitive in losses. That’s impressive no matter what anyone says. Nobody is saying they would rather go to Arizona over Tennessee lol

If you consider 5 losses respectable that means you concede most teams are better than you. Which they are. Arizona is not even going to be middle of the pack when USC and UCLA leaves. The coach did take them from the grave to the basement.

By that rationale Jeremy Pruitt took BJs players, and Guarantano at QB to a decent bowl game in a way harder conference his 2nd year. So we should have had the Number 1 class in 2019. 😂 🤷‍♂️

This is an old school recruitment and I love it. This reminds me of the early days of VN and before, you legit didn’t know where a guy was going until you tuned in to ESPN or an All American game to see them commit, and by the way some of y’all are reacting I can tell y’all wasn’t around for them days lol.
I go back to the days of getting the newspaper the day after signing day and seeing who you got😂🧡

He said a “solid program.” The point is to showcase they arent progressing to anything, but below par results. Not qualifying for a bowl on a consistent basis doesnt qualify as becoming a solid program. Using the word “becoming” in this context is referencing “past results.” Do you have more questions to ask?
No he said “turning into a solid program.” Which improving their record by 4 games and notching a top15 win is an improvement. You countered with saying they suck. They can suck and be improving at the same time. I felt your argument didn’t make sense so I asked. Why be a smart ass?

Unfortunately logic doesn't often apply in the recruit's decision making process .....we shall soon see if it does.

Do you know off the top of your head how many dlinemen have went to the league from Arizona? Or their Dline coach?

His brother was serious enough to try to walk on to a big time SEC program. I would think with his talent he would evaluate what’s best for him in football. And I know football isn’t everything, no idea what his major or interests are but his opportunities would seem to be better in the SEC. Hell I would think they would be better at Oregon honestly than Arizona.

Appreciate it.

It’s respectable for them. Why can’t y’all except that lol. 5-7 is one game away from .500 which is the def of average. No need to try and **** on Arizona, it’s literally Arizona… it wouldn’t be a football decision, but a family one.
