I'm pretty sure I read somewhere he's got 3 to play 2. But can't swear to it due to all the many JUCOs I've read up on lately, ha. But if so, then 2yrs of this kid should be 2 productive seasons. He might win the job as a freshman. Only real competition is Ethan's little brother - Eli Wolf. But talent-wise and athleticism-wise, Anderson is head and shoulders above any TE that we currently have. In my opinion. Very good option in the passing game AND it says in his interview that he is looking forward to getting to show off his blocking skills too, so that sounds good. Jacob Warren seems like your typical "solid blocking, safety blanket" type of TE. So we can hopefully redshirt Warren while we try to develop him into a solid, Witten type of TE. But Anderson looks very talented, with an NFL TE body. Will be solid as a Freshman I think. Might be starting quite a few Freshman out of this class if they turn out to be what we think they are.
