He's living out the process. Recruiting turns a lot of players into divas. Asking for twitter follows seems tame compared to what some of these young men do. And given the propensity of many Vol fans to twitter stalk recruits anyway, what is the big deal? You finally have a kid asking for it and you get upset? Whatever. As for his ability, if you're all in on the new coach(which I'm not quite there), but if you are, Pruitt offered him. So do you trust his ability to evaluate or not?

Byrd should have learned twitter ain't his thing after the SC game.

How was he being a dick? Byrd was keeping it real. Don't say you're going to committ just because you're trying to get followers. He will get more followers than he can handle if he commits to TN. Byrd just called him out on it.
