'18 AZ JUCO TE Dominick Anderson (UT signee)

Herm Edwards is a clown. I seriously doubt any high school kid or family is ever impressed by him. He's just a clown.

Terrible effin hire by that school.

tennessee — like alabama and arizona state — had a visit with 4-star juco te dominick wood-anderson on thursday. And tennessee has landed a weekend visit from the talented tight end.

OV to UT this weekend...

THE SKINNY: Wood-Anderson had interest from Tennessee’s previous staff, but Pruitt and assistant coach Brian Niedermeyer were able to convince the No. 1 JUCO tight end to take his final official visit to Knoxville this weekend. Wood-Anderson is a former Texas pledge, and has also seriously considered committing to Alabama and Oregon. He has taken OVs to Texas, Alabama, Texas A&M and Louisville. Wood-Anderson is an early enrollee and will sign next Wednesday.

I think the playing time opportunity is there definitely. Once Ethan Wolf is gone, it's pretty much there for the taking.

It may be a longshot though, but you've gotta like having the last visit.

Heck, we should just fill this class with as many JUCO's as possible. Then go hard on High schoolers next year when we have a full year to recruit.

there's been some really good TE's in this league the last few years, i would love to have an impact player at that position....everybody looking for their Kelce or Gronk or Olsen.

i want one too.......

I can't wait for this cycle to be DONE. I almost want it gone as much as much as I want to see what 2019 brings.

Agreed. I feel for Pruitt and staff. Anytime you have a coaching change, you're behind the 8 ball, but him choosing to coach Bama in the playoffs definitely isn't going to make life easier on him. I'm glad he's doing it.

But I'll be glad when we have a full staff that is 100% committed to UT and full steam ahead.

Well, we get the last visit. Let's see what Pruitt and company can do. This a big need although I'm optimistic about Bumphus.

That’s a bit harsh. The coach we just fired was a clown

I don't agree. Butch worked his butt off for the Vols. He recruited well. He was just stubborn in his offensive scheme, as most coaches are, and it wasn't and would never be successful in the weekly grind of the SEC. He is a good man, I hated to see him fail. I do think we are better off than when he started. The clown was Dooley. He didn't sign an o-lineman for a couple years or something to that regard. Dooley can't say we were better after his departure.

Dooley forgot more about football than Butch will ever know. Butch was a salesman posed as a football coach. He couldn’t talk X’s and O’s with anyone bc he didn’t know the game
