Why are you so confused? Nicos “deal” will pay him $8 million over the course of 3-4 years. Spyre has stated it’s goal is $25 million per year for NIL. So say Nico is only here for 3 years. That’s a little over $2 million per YEAR. Taking that into account there is still almost $23 million left for this year.

"We" don't have any actual information. And we never ever will have all the information. Ever. It's usually more than one piece of the puzzle too. Credit also has to go toward the competitors, like in any struggle. Does an Oregon person get blamed because we dropped 8 big ones on Nico?

But I won't be surprised when someone wants to start throwing the blame grenades anyway, even while shrouded in ignorance.

Kind of my point. If he doesn’t come here I suspect we will see the usual idiotic comments about the staff and our NIL sucks. You know it’s gonna happen.

I think everyone is pretty much in tune with the fact we are leading the NIL pack and our coaches are good at their jobs. People who question either, after such an insignificant miss, really are out of touch.
