I think we’d all love to hear them. I’m not sure Gibson ever did leave Knoxville after his visit. Some say if you drive around campus late at night, you can still see him wandering around asking for rides

Preston Williams was one of the weirdest kids I’ve ever met in my entire life. He told anyone that would listen that he was a male model and only played football for the exposure.

I can’t remember the players name, but he was a defensive player, and Alex and some friends were hammered drunk talking smack about the defense not being any good. We’re talking a group of 8-10 guys on a Tuesday or Wednesday causing no problems. Just celebrating a birthday. Jones gets cocky and calls one of them the N word. It got dead silent. I was just happy they let me handle it. 99% of the players I’ve met since I was a tutor in 1997 until now have been great. There’s just always a couple that take their “celebrity” too far. Looking back I should have just let them beat the brakes off of him.

It was one of those things where I just happened to be at the counter, heard it, and made eye contact with a couple of players. It was one of those “please come get this guy before we all lose our scholarships” kind of looks. Complete idiot.
