If we get three years of top recruiting classes and still can't win I'll be the first one to say these coaches suck

This I completely agree with (although I'm afraid whether this staff will get 3 years if they keep losing and getting blown out). I think it's an absolute must for them to beat Vandy and UK this year (Dooley's loss to UK was his ultimate downfall because recruiting dropped off after that).

Dooleys downfall was Dooley . He alienated former players and high school coaches where he recruited. He was taking the program nowhere but further into obscurity .

they should get 4 years from now, whether they go bowling or not this year

Younger guys did not get to play much last year because people ahead of them were so good - that is the reason it may seem they are behind. As far as Dooley's WR coaches on his UT staff, do you remember Charlie Bagget? You do realize what kind of WR coaching resume he had?
Ever heard of Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Andre Rison, Mark Ingram, Plaxico Burress, Lorenzo White, etc?
Because he coached all of them and is clearly one of the best in business.
So why don't you first do some research and learn what type of offensive coaching talent we had here before you attempt to talk nonsense. Then you will understand that what Hunter and those other guys did was not random running around (our current WR coach apparently needs to do some research himself).

Here is where both of you can get started:

Scout.com: Baggett, Chaney officially added to staff

Bagget left when Wilcox did. Pig only had maybe one year with him, and the guys younger than him didn't have him at all. Most of our players here did not even get coached by Charlie Bagget. Chaney's offense was anemic the first two years here also. The guys running around out there mostly played for Hinshaw. It looks like he wasn't much of a receivers coach. Also, younger guys still practice!

That will depend on whether they keep recruiting like they have so far, and also start showing some real improvement next year. Couple of really bad loses here and there (i.e. Vandy and/or UK always qualify) and they can forget about 4 years (will be lucky to get 3 years in that case just like Dooley did). That's why it's really critical that we don't lose to either one of those "rivals" (it hurt typing that) this year.

This was why we would not be in the future consideration for some really good 4-5* the last couple of years that went to Bama, Georgia, or Auburn. Dooley got high school coaches offside and they wouldn't work for him and he lost so many good recruits that could be playing now.

Hell yeah! Although i wish they would, they don't even have to throw more balls to him...just rip that damn jet sweep to Pig out of the play book, delete from the iPad!! It's not even fair to ask Pig to run the play...ugh.

Didn't Jacques nearly throw him into the bleachers in the OW game on that same play? When our D can catch on to a play ... well.

Pig is just a soph. Bagget was already gone.

Hart told Wilcox and company no contract extensions over a year and they didn't stay,so we got his buddy Sunseri from Bama, with a nice contract and the rest is history

wow! I didn't know that. Wilcox was the best coach on staff. How do u do that to him.

I think Pig is our best scat back or change of pass back. Here me out 5'8/5'9 195-198. low center of gravity 4.3 speed. Put that kid in the back field and lets see what will happen.

^^^This...wondering when someone was going to mention this. The fact of the matter is Baggett had little or no time with any of these current recievers. Of the one's in the NFL now Hunter is a poor route runner, and CP doesnt seem to know what a route is. Hunter's coming on a little for Titans but CP has a long way to go. D'Rick couldnt make a team and I'm not sure if Bray can do anything but chuck the ball up. They were all poorly coached in the fundamentals. As much as I enjoyed our high powered offense, I would like to have won a few games against good competition and there are no excuses for Dooley and his past staff/s.

Go back and watch a few games from last year and it does look kinda like every time pig got the ball it was just a "get him the ball and let him work" as opposed to "go run this route and get open downfield." We did the same thing with CP a lot too.

I'm not saying it was a bad plan since we obviously scored a bunch of points and the 2 of them made a bunch of plays in space. It's just not an effective way to prepare a young receiver to play in different types of offenses.
