Bad Coaching end of game as usual

BP is a great coach but he has to be one of the worst end game coaches of all time. You have to use the time out...

I can't wait til the NCAA rulings come out so we can get rid of Bruce and move forward.

That tactic has worked maybe twice since he has been here.

and also.. our offense sucks.. why do we ALWAYS wait til last sec to shoot ball at the end of the game.. we are great rebounders and we have great defense.. score and play to your strength. DEFENSE! damn.... We will lose the NIT also since we will be playing crap teams

Why did he take Hopson out with 3 fouls at around the 4:30 mark? Also why don't we have any shooters?

They suck playing under pressure right now. How do we go slow down the court with 14 seconds left. FLA went down the court with 25 sec like there were 10 and we loaf on our pitiful attempt!

Sad.

for all the people saying that the timeout wouldnt matter, i say BS. at least a timeout will give Bruce time to tell Goins to give the damn ball to Hopson since hes the ONLY offensive threat on our team right now.

We lost it on the free throw line. It was pitiful. Don't these guys ever practice free throws? They can run, dunk and jump through the ceiling, but can't shoot a simple free throw that a middle school girl could make.

Many coaches choose not call a timeout in that situation. However, the way the other 4 players just stood and watched Goins dribble the time away is embarrassing.

It's like his brain short circuited this yr with all the ncaa stuff. We have not shown any of the characteristics the previous 5 yrs.

Vandy is easily the best team in the state maybe the sec, that's coaching & certainly not recruiting! This team is clueless..

I have tentatively defended Bruce in the past, but no more. I called this **** with 8 minutes left even down to what the bull**** play was. "Melvin Goins dribble around and have a desperation 3"

Thats rite Pearl dont call timeout and draw a play up to get it to ur best shooter Hopson, who didnt miss a 3 all game... I'm beginning to wonder if he has a last possession offensive play call in the book. **** him I'm done.

I've seen a Bruce Pearl coached team make a play in the last 30 seconds, but I've never seen a Bruce Pearl coached team strategically win a game in the last 30 seconds.

It's obvious the players don't believe in him or themselves except Hobson. No way they can beat Ky last yr with 5 1st rounders and Kansas with a depleated roster and almost make the final 4 and can't compete this yr. The sec was way tougher last yr.

we have proven time after time that we are a team that needs a timeout in that situation. It may not always work, but its better than a desparation 3.
