I keep reading fans saying Tenn needs a new coach. Who? I would think if that decision is made then a coach from a lower scaled team would be available. Trying to get a coach from one of the top teams imo isn't realistic for a couple of reasons. It would take a lot of money and I don't think the boosters would want that they want the monies to go to football. Second a new coach would have to take Tenn a couple of steps back and begin rebuilding. That would mean losing and disciplining the team. A coach from an up and coming program like the ole coach at Marist or South Dakota for example who is building something from almost nothing and making headway on the big stage would be ideal. Now how would that effect recruiting? Coming to Tenn from a smaller school. Ohio St has made a lot of progress the past couple of seasons so it can be done. I think Holly needs to get out and meet with other coaches and learn how they implement their offense and defense. She cant put up with players who wont do what she says. An ole saying Ive used many times..."If you cant change your players, then you have to change your players." The Tenn coaching staff needs to change what theyre doing because its not working. Tenn coaches are not alone. There are many coaches doing the same thing over and over again and thinking things will change. It hasn't. Tenn has terrific talent and cant dominate. Why? Because the coaches haven't changed what theyre doing. The days of out talenting opponents are gone. You need a team that works together. Look around at all the talent in WCBB. Look at the teams who are at the top of the polls the past few seasons. The top 3 are almost always the same. UConn ND Baylor. Why? Because their coaches make the adjustments based on their talent. Coaches underperforming need to change what theyre doing because its not working

I subscribe to the rationale in this post,Holly has had three years to develop a half court offense both against zone and man ( or woman if you prefer) and has not done so....If there is an offensive guru on the staff it is not apparent and if there is one Holly is ignoring him/her.After being thumped by good teams who have good half court offenses in last three years ,you would think that Holly would have enough smarts to either change her half court offense or hire an offensive guru to install one for her.This team is completely discombobulated in half court offense and until they get that fixed ,this team will not be a Final Four team .Is Holly smart enough to recognize that fact ? she has not shown any indication of that in last there years.....maybe the last three games will be a wakeup call .....hope springs eternal .

Lol, Ivyleague is the only one that sees the glass as 1/4 full, when everyone else thinks it's time to get another pitcher.

well I don't really care what the national press has to say,all I care about is how the lady Vols play ball this year and was I upset over the game ? hell yes,but it is just 1 loss early in this season,so i'm not to concerned about it

did ya'll think they were going to be undefeated this year ? I do think that CHWs teams play better as the season goes along,just remember, there is a lot of Basketball yet to be played yet

and the noise grows louder.... I honestly thought it would quieten down a while, but man... it's going to be as loud as a freight train before this road trip is over.

No one should be given anything no matter what their name is. Remember the name Dooley? Giving passes are no guarantees that a name equals success. Choose what is tried and true at the level of your competition.

Noise at home games is going to be a lot quieter if things don't improve rapidly.
