Bama back to mediocrity next year

WELL DAMN!!!!!!!!!! I guess I just got a cold dose of reality from the Volnation. I was hoping to make myself feel better about our chances next year against Bama, but seems like most of you think Bama will be on top for years to come. Way to go guys:mf_surrender:

Have you looked at JPW's stats? He averaged about 180 yds/gm and had 10 TD passes for the year. Bama should be better next year, and with that defense, they just need decent QB play. I don't like it, but Bama's gonna be good for a while.

He wasn't a difference maker at QB, that's for sure. He just kept Bama out of the bad play, about all that was asked out of him.

Only read the original thread, but Alabama is here to stay. They are physical and they're not lacking in talent or coaching -- regardless who their QB is next year.

It is the "Life is tough little bro get a helmet clip" it was in reference to (cant remember which poster) but he wasnt wanting to accept the fact that bama is going to be good for some time.

Just looked. Saban's contract runs for six more years. Who knows, he might stick around longer, but he'll be in his sixties by then.

NO BAMA, THERE IS NOT NEXT YEAR. One Bammer told me, does Star Jackson ring a bell? I dont care who your so called QB is next year. The bottom line is that you have to have a Proven Veteran QB in the SEC to WIN.

Top of the class:
Florida=Tebow
Georgia= Stafford
Bama=Wilson
Ole Miss=Snead

Bottom of the class:
TN=Crompton
USCjr=Garcia
Aubie=Burns
LSU=Hatch

With Stafford and possibly Tebow gone next year, we might actually have a chance, but not with Crompton. I do however think that Ole Miss wins the West next year.

You lose all credibility with this statement. Put the pipe down man:crazy:

Did you guys see Saban at the end of the game tonight? He looked rough, and like he just aged about 10 more years.

Man, Bama only has 9 seniors. A. Smith will likely go pro but they had an extremely good haul in lineman over the past two recruiting seasons. They will win at least 10 games next year.

I think Saban is much better at getting the most out of his players than Meyer is... so next year, I think Saban can get a more complete game out of his QB than Meyer will be, depending on IF Tebow goes pro. At any rate he (Saban) will get more out of his defense than Meyer will. I think we will have to battle Saban and Bama every year, which i would like if both are undefeated...

I doubt it. Saban will build alabama up just like he did LSU. Bama will contend year in and year out with saban around.
