Bama proved that, with 40 days to prepare, they can scheme to stop a below average offense. They also proved that, other than the Richardson TD that didn't matter, they couldn't do anything other than make the fieldgoals that they missed in the first game. Defense wins championships, but the better defense in this game, was forced to play the entire time.
At 8:30 pm tonight I was in the same boat as TNsnyper. Now I have no doubt that Alabama deserves the title of 2012 National Champion. You can't really argue against a shutout! Their defense was dominating tonight. Alabama wins this game 9 out of 10 times they play. JMO
I know that there are some that say regardless of outcome Bama does not deserve championship due to previous loss. If things remain as they are, I believe that Bama proved they are the better team. No arguments please, just others thoughts.
Having two SEC teams ruined it for me this year. Usually, I can at least pull for Bama or LSU one time a year but this year I just want to vomit. I hate both teams. And I can't keep from thinking UT literally couldn't beat either team if you spotted us 50 points. It just makes me sick. Oh, and Bama is obviously better but every time I hear Brent Musburger say "the tide rolled all over him" I puke in my mouth a little bit.
...It's what God has been doing to our poor souls. Not only do we have a coach more interested in his fashion than running the football, but all of our rivals are winning while we get our teeth kicked in.
