Bama Deserving of Championship?

LSU should not have won the first game. Miles luck finally ran out, and bama is the undisputed NC.

I have been fine with these two teams playing fof the NC....some change tonight. Yes Al is deserving of NC. We need a playoff.

This is exactly why I didn't want Bama to get the rematch. Why couldn't LSU just walk over OSU, get the crystal trophy and all the bammers be butthurt about it? It sucks to say it but yes, Bama is undisputed NC.

There's no doubt that Bama would have mowed their way through any playoff based on what I've seen tonight and in the previous bowls.

:dance: Bama just awsome, UT can only look through the tv at so great a team. we are watching the greatest FB program in the history of man. Next year more of the same. Bama will be #1 inrecruiting or LSU will be. then N. Sabin will kick every team they play again. then in 2013 just another year for bama. There is not even a mountain in Alabama.:unsure:

I dont think Bama really earned both polls, but thats the way the system is. It would be nice to see if Ok State was for real. At least they have a QB.

Congrats to Bama for winning an arbitrary game against a team the they already lost to, and have a worse record than. At the end of the season, the records look like this.

Alabama:
12-1 / 8-1 SEC / 1-1 Heads Up

LSU:
13-1 / 9-1 / 1-1 Heads Up

Not a tough decision to me. LSU is the National Champ. All this talk of "Domination" is hyperbole to the extreme. The components of this game were as follows: two great defenses, an average offense, a horrible offense, some fieldgoals, and some punts.

Uh... the "better defense" couldn't stop the opposing team's offense to get off the field. Perhaps, but this is just a thought, the better defense was the defense punching the clock to drink some gatorade after another routine three and out.
