Bama draft

D4H do you even think before you post? Name me one team over the past 5 years that has had more success in getting players drafted than Bammer. They've had many successful players as well. My take on this is how the F*** do they continue to recruit at the totally ridiculous level they do? There has been nothing like it since those UCLA basketball teams. Saban is good but "something is rotten in Denmark " with Bammer's recruiting.

I never denied that they get their players drafted. I simply said their players get exposed in the NFL as not being that good. Other than for Julio, most of their other high picks have been disappointments in the NFL.

LSU and Georgia have had a better track record when it comes to producing stars at the next level.

Thought this graphic was pretty telling.

Been about that long since we were relevant.

Eh, we were relevant two years after that in 2001.

And in 2003. And 2007.

And for quite a lot of the season in 2006.

And a bit in 2004.

On the NFL Network, the reports from scouts said with Bama players, what you see is what you get.

You know this stuff is too easy to hit out of the park?

Amari Cooper, CJ Mosley, Dont'a Hightower, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Landon Collins.

None of those guys are stars. Dont'a Hightower is another product of the Patriots system. Collins had a decent year last season after a bad rookie campaign. Lets see if year 2 was more than a fluke. CJ Moseley fell off after an impressive rookie campaign. Amari Cooper barely got over 1000 yards receiving in a pass happy league. And Clinton-Dix has been a liability in coverage so far for the Packers.

As I said Julio Jones is the only star Alabama has produced at the next level.

D4H buried himself under the weight of his own bull**** in the "Dobbs Depth Chart" thread, so he disappears for a little while and pops up over here to get his troll fix.

Typically, I would say that his behavior is sad. But c'mon, it's D4H, so watching him embarrass himself is nothing short of hilarious.

I see you keep catching feelings over the fact your bama boys keep failing in the NFL.

Keep whining about it. All I speak are facts.

Since you're a facts guy.

What do the facts that Alabama has the most players currently in the league and the most Pro Bowlers tell you?

Even if that were true, it means nothing to me. I wish ex-Bama players the best. But unless they wind up with the Titans their success or failure is of no concern. I hope they make a good living, but I have never subscribed to this college fanboy nonsense where I follow pro teams based upon where my favorite college players wind up.

Actually that's not entirely true. I actually want former Bama players to fail when they are playing the Titans.

All I speak are facts.

This word doesn't work the way that you want it to work.

Why are you a fan of the Titans?

Ha Ha is our best DB in Green Bay.

He was Second Team All-Pro.

But remember, D4H can't be wrong, so it's the voters for the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams that simply don't realize that Clinton-Dix is no good.

Guys who aren't very good get a lucky all-pro second team selection every now and then. Look no further than Dominique Rogers-Cromartie. He also made second team all-pro last year after stinking for most of his career.

Kudos to Ha Ha. He had a lucky year last season when he grabbed 5 picks and tricked the media into voting him second team all-pro.

Watch him and Landon Collins regress next season back to what they normally are. Which is liabilities in coverage.

Your secondary is terrible so that doesn't say a lot.

That's why you guys drafted so many DBs with your first couple of picks this year in the draft.

Ha Ha wasn't much of a factor of how bad it was. We had to draft secondary because of injuries and throwing mediocre guys in the mix.
