Reading that article makes it seem like he's scared to take on a big time job because he's afraid to fail. Maybe he's just waiting for a Coach K, Roy Williams to retire so he can slid into their program that's already loaded with talent. He just doesn't seem to want to rebuild a program. Money talks though.

It was rumored last year that his agent said it would take $2.5mil or $3mil (can't remember the exact number) to even get to the table with him. If that was true, it doesn't sound like a man not willing to move on. Just pay him.

It was 3 mil and probably after all is said and done Bama will pay what it takes to get him. I don't think it would be a good move for him imo

I'm torn on his potential there. Grant proved you can get good talent on paper to come to Tuscaloosa and Atlanta and B'ham alone could produce a good foundation of players but for some reason no one seems to be able to have sustained success there.

The facilities need to be improved greatly for anyone to sustain success there. Basketball facilities that is. Seems like football gets the bulk of the funds.
