I hope OU beats Texas, but I hate that Texas would receive their first SEC loss from them instead of one of the long time members.

Texas' schedule was odd. The SEC made a point when they added Missouri and A&M to give them a solid opener against traditional powers that would generate ratings. They did the same with OU vs Tennessee but they gave Texas Miss State? That is just odd.

I'm confused by all the love for 7:30. 3:30 EST has always been the prime slot, at least in my book. I know that's because of CBS, and we traded in CBS for whatever the hell that hot golf channel mess is on ABC, but nonetheless -- much happier with 3:30 than 7:30.

The game ended at around 8:00 or maybe a little after. I think that is why some are confusing it now as a night game.

Now THIS GAME BOYS, is the game I think we learn what team we are. If we are playoff worthy, if we can hang with anyone on any given day… this game is tell all. If we win, I see us slipping into the playoffs at 10-2. If we drop this game there’s no way we are gonna upset Georgia in Athens or even be able to make the final cut for the new expanded playoffs. This game will be do or die for the both us and Bama come 3rd Saturday in October.
