Welp, let's say the second half was definitely after dark, so I don't know if dark means night, but the Visions I have are of Neyland Fireworks lighting up the Night Sky. Thanks for that, I see some on here are like Vultures waiting to pounce ......

No way Jose. Texas slow played that game, could have beaten State by 50, but they either didn't want to embarrass their first SEC Opponent, or somebody had a large bet on State to cover.... Sark learned from Saban... Msu is a bad football team.

Tell me what insult I did. I said it was a day game and it was, doesn't matter that it was dark when the game ended. Just facts, no insult.

Of course we have to play a night game on the road against f'ing Arkansas but we don't get a night game at home against Bama. Stupid. There's 3 night time slots and we don't get any of them.

We all say incorrect things from time to time. I doubt he meant anything personal to you, as I’ve recently acted as foolish on here. It’s like a sum of all things that makes a person talk so disrespectful and the Arkansas loss has everyone acting a little nutty this week.

Bama in 2022 and Florida in 1998 were both afternoon games. Most of my best memories of our football program were afternoon kickoffs in the fall. I love it when the sky turns orange and the lights come on between the 3rd and 4th quarter. All our hungover fans come back to life and we shake the stadium with our rekindled energy. Nothing beats Neyland in the early evening. It’s the best time of day for a slugfest on the gridiron.

Florida was a night game in 1998. CBS did one or two a year

My mistake. That makes sense because it was early September and the sun didn’t go down until after kickoff. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been dark before the game ended.

I was 14, but remember how muggy it was and how tense everyone was around me.

Texas against UGA is the prime time match up based on right now - but when OU takes down Texas next week it would be interesting.

Assuming we, UGA and Bama make it through this weekend without any surprises, it is a given that next week is going to be key in terms of who is still in the hunt for a playoff berth.
