It was so nice to see a Bama game where they called penalties on them for holding on offense and defense. He wasn't the reason for their lose but Hurd is the best running back trying to play QB in college football.

IMO the Bammer DBs played man both times which should result in a TD against man coverage in that situation. It's not a pick when the DB comes up and engages the receiver with contact within 5 yds of the LOS. That last play plain as day, DB has arms wrapped around receiver making an inside move making the contact effectively taking himself into his own player. picking him. The D to call in that formation is a zone, the DBs then make a switch and don't pick themselves off. You'd think Bama would have learned but Saban stubbornly believes in man outside and it cost him 14 points seeing the same play run against him in the same game twice and playing it the same way both times. Swinney schools Saban.

If Saban were at TN right now, they'd be calling for his head for under achieving.

"He's got the most talent going into every game, but keeps getting outcoached! He's lost 6 games in the last 3 years to teams with less talent! He's too old! He's too short!"

Awesome game. I felt that Alabama was really fortunate to win last year at Clemson's expense so I'm glad they got to redeem themselves against one another. Instant Classic as was last years game. Goodness, if only the Superbowl will be this good of a game. Hat off to Clemson, well played.

A considerable amount of their fan base is refusing to give any credit to Clemson. Saying the loss was due to their own mistakes, not that Clemson was better when it mattered or found ways to win against Alabama.

Imo, Pruitt is a better DC than Kirby and Sark is better than Kiffin.

Bama and Clemson were pretty equal in most respects, but Clemson had a great seasoned DT QB vs Bama playing a true freshman QB.

Bama still came VERY close to winning it anyway, just 1 play, 1 mistake shy.

What a great game! Congrats to Clemson!
