Bama has no chance, the talking heads love the Big 10

UCF? Oh yeah. What a great game UCF/ Clemson or UCF/UGA would be. Not.

Dont care. If an undeafeated team doesnt get a chance to play for a Championship, they shouldnt be in the league.

Ive never understood why we have 128 teams, but only 40-50 are allowed to win a championship.

I would think Wisconsin would still get it instead of Alabama. Just my opinion but i hate to see a team get punished for playong for a conference championship.

Me personally, i think UCF shoulf get in.

Strength of schedule has to be taken into account. Wisconsin and UCF have played nobody.

I think Bama gets in. Having clemson DOMINATE osu last year plays a subconscious role as well. OU vs Bama in the title game

I hate both Bama and OSU. Would rather a 2 loss Miami or USC team get in, but that won't happen.

I think Bama gets in over OSU. Bama is more of a media darling than OSU. I think both teams lose to Oklahoma or Clemson.

Championship will be between Clemson and OU, imo. Clemson repeats as champs as OU offense again stalls when faced against an elite defense.

I want OSU to get in, but I think Bama does.

OSU gets in and it means Bama doesn’t, the committee gets hell, and OSU probably gets destroyed in the semi’s.

I don't want Bama in, but I do think Clemson and Oklahoma are better football teams and would beat them.

Not being a jerk towards you, just the hypocrisy with the "unbiased" commitee. I hate when they say "a team is not viewed equal"

Flawd logic when team 1 beats team 2, but team 2 gets in the final four.

Well I am with ya that this whole process is flawed. The "sell" was the committees job was to get the best 4 teams. Well, as much as I hate Bama, I think it is pretty clear they are a better team than Ohio St.

Now some of this is just the eye test, and some of it is the fact that Ohio st. got thumped by an average Iowa team this time last month. Add in an additional loss and the fact that I view the Big 10 as a pretty weak conference. Their last 2 playoff performances were pathetic.

The committee is not interested in only picking 4 best teams though, other variables are in play.

They played the teams on their schedule. If they cant get a chance to win the whole league should be restructured.

Plus i just hate Alabama and dont want them in it. I also hate seeing a team that sat home on championship day rewarded.

If they want to put osu in, fine, but why not usc? USC got thumped by nd just like osu did on the road, 2 losses, and conf championship. They have literally have similar resumes. This 4 team playoff with 5 major conferences is bull.

I agree that its a messed up system. But its just the way it is. Hopefully Bama gets in and gets destroyed.

I hate PSU. I hate OSU...and I hate Bama. And I hate all big ten teams.... But if OSU gets in over Bama. Then somebody needs to investigate the committee then..because if PSU didn't get in last year, and they won the big ten and OSU did, and virtually the something happened this year but just reversed. That tells you something fishy is going on with this committee and OSU.

11 months ago, Clemson beat Alabama by 4 and Ohio State by 31.
Committee not taking another risk on a wasted semi. B10 0-69 in last two semis.
Advertisers won't tolerate it.

Yeah, I thought 8 was the magic number when we went to a playoff. There are always going to be a few at large teams that deserve to get in. Again, I HATE BAMA, but they are the epitome of an at large team that deserves to get in. Lost their first game, on the road to a really good team, the last week of the regular season.

I thought 8 was the number, and I still do.

Then why did they select OSU instead of PSU last year??

OSU was 11-1 only having lost a 3 point game to Penn St and having beaten: #5 Michigan, #8 Oklahoma, #6 Wisconsin

Penn State was 11-2 and beat: Ohio State, Wisconsin in the extra conference championship game, and their best OOC opponent that year was a loss vs 7-win Pittsburgh.

Im with you, for the people who cry too many games, just take away one of the cupcakes each team plays in their schedule.

Yes but you will not see anyone putting USC out there. They are just concerned that the Big 10 will get left out.

They need to take the 5 conference champions and three at larges and be done with it. That’s the best format. Quick dragging their dang feet and do it. The hell thats going to be raised now by one side will probably get it done.

On the flip side, if they went to a 128 team format, we may or may not get it🤔
I like the 6 team format better. It makes being 1 or 2 much more important while having the p5 champs and 1 at large.
