Bama player appeared to hit woman as he left the field…

Then you're in the clear . . . The guy I was clearly talking about probably has some explaining to do. Although, I don't really think the DA would want to touch this.
Exactly. I’m not saying anything will be done legally. I’m just saying this guy is a POS. He’s an embarrassment to Bama as well.

She should not have been on the field. He should have not put His hands on Her. They were both wrong.

What crime did she commit? And why are you so intent on justifying someone getting hands to the face, let alone a young woman? One of these things is not like the other and your willful ignorance to that fact is both disgusting and astounding.

I promise you the only one embarrassing themselves in that conversation is you. There is zero reasons to defend, excuse, or diminish the actions of this POS thug. The girl posed absolutely zero threat to POS, there was no call for him to strike her whatsoever period.
Quit letting your emotions cloud your judgement. Your biased emotional outbursts don't help your argument. In fact, it does the opposite.

I don't know the girl myself, but do know several people who do. All describe her as a very nice young lady and a skilled athlete herself.
I mean she could be a highly trained assassin for all I know. Just didn’t look it in the video, looked distracted and attempting to gtfo of the way of the player coming off the field.

She should not have been on the field. He should not have put His hands on Her. They were both wrong. His behavior wasn't acceptable, and her's wasn't either.

there were at least 60,000 people on the field. Did he have a right to smack every single one of them?

Everyone (except you apparently) understands that rushing the field after our first win over bammer in 15 years is expected, even the President of the university.

SMH...make sure you don't go 56 in a 55 either.

Regardless of what her "right" to be on the field was, he was wrong, period, dot.

Let me put it this way. Not a single one of the 60000 fans that stormed the field will be penalized in any way, but his college career may just be over.

Like the co-ed being on the field period. You can keep trying, but there is no defending it. She was wrong. Just like everyone else that was down there. If fans are not on the field, it doesn't happen. UT is paying the price for it as we speak and I'd be willing to bet that this whole situation, that has been blown monumentally out of proportion, will be the end of fans rushing Shields-Watkins field.
Dude, you are so full of crap. The game was over, he was walking off and she stepped in front of him and actively tried to dodge him. He popped her. Any defense on your part at this point is trolling and rather pathetic.

Sorry you never got to rush the field. I did in 82, it was epic. We carried the damn goalposts up and down Cumberland forever.

Like no other team ever does this either. It's part of the game, deal with it.

I'm loving the Bama meltdown. They called us trash and clutched their pearls because a few folks flipped off the Bama player buses. I've been reading comments on their boards about how fans shouldn't be on the field and hitting a woman is ok if she is in your way. They also add vulgar lyrics to Dixieland Delight. Their sudden claim to having high moral standards is laughable, and tells you all you need to know about the gumps. Their salty tears are all the sustenance I need.
