Thats because Alabama hasnt been and Sec powerhouse in some years now. People need to look past the hate and the Bama record over the last decade and start looking at what is happening against powerful football teams. Its is clearly getting out of hand, and those questions were from a TENNESSEE fan. :D

Correct about Bama's position.

Typical Bama mentality - "getting out of hand" - listen to Finebaum much? We lose one to UF and the program is going straight down the tubes. Give me a break.

You can quote UT fans all you want - you can always find some that are dissatisfied. We express it here, dissatisfied Bama fans try to shoot their kids.

We have won our share against "powerful" football teams over the last several years (Georgia, Florida, Miami, Michigan, etc.).

I hear the Bama wishful thinking about the "demise" of UT everyday. It's ironic that Bama fans claim that Fulmer was trying to destroy Bama because he couldn't beat them (record shows otherwise) yet Bama fans are praying daily for UT to stumble (I guess you have to get a win somehow).

I dont wish the "demise" on any program. Our demise was fueled by greed and wealthy boosters. Ut is on a completely different path. They are their own worst enemies. I know its different from the outside looking in, but take it from experience, changes need to happen in Knoxville before it gets ugly and 7-8 win seasons become acceptable.

My point is that just as Finebaum declares a program "dead" or "getting ugly" after one loss - so too do many Bama fans. While you don't wish for demise, many of your Bama brethren do.

It's a bit early to say UT is in deep trouble. As pointed out in another thread - 6 teams in the SEC have won the SEC Championship since 1998. 3 teams in the SEC have won Nat. Champs (4 if you think Auburn got screwed) in the last 9 or 10 years. The SEC is competitive. Losses will occur. 8 of 12 SEC teams have played in the championship game since 1998.

If UT starts losing to teams it should clearly beat on a regular basis, then we have trouble. Until then, I wouldn't write them off.

well when you have the best players money can buy. you should win every year.Or do they spend so much on talent they cant afford a decent coach? Ta'll even tried to hire a coach with a money name like Mike Price,but is'nt he the one caught with a stripper that looked like she had been beaten with a semi full of ugly sticks.....
