Bama submits play for league office review

I sure have had a good time the last couple of days😎. Watching the bammers gripe and moan about the officiating has stirred up a part of Carl Pickens that I thought I had lost…. never to be regained….the sheer joy of watching those venereal disease infected, unhygienic, ugly, fat ass momma having gumps has reinvigorated my attitude. It’s as if I’ve just returned from a vision quest

I also thought they would call targeting, the other angle looked a lot better to me. I think honestly it was on the fence and could’ve went either way. Refs may have given some slack to the fact that the Omari train can’t stop on a damn dime.

Actually, he let up before the hit and his face mask grazed BY’s helmet. So no, it wasn’t a targeting. The refs got that one right.

How is a man that size supposed to stop himself from moving that speed in a fraction of a second?
Exactly!! Thomas didn’t lower his shoulder or launch at young, he cannot help it he’s 5 inches taller then young! If you watch the replay you can see targeting never happened. targetting is launching toward a defenseless player, leading with the helmet, or simply aiming for the opposing players head. None of the above happened. Nick Saban is a big *** baby!!

Saban is smarter than some of us are giving him credit. This is not whining! By sending in the tape he is creating an opportunity for Bama .. unconscious preprocessing and unconscious learning. He is trying to plant the thought that refs have a responsibility to protect the (Bama) QB. He is hoping that all the referees review this play...it may create a sympathize response in some refs. All he has to do is plant the thought and then reinforce it in Atlanta. This is chess...have you not seen Nick sitting in front of the board??? Time for us to start playing on a grandmaster level!

Omari dropped his head but also moved it to his left trying to avoid helmet to helmet. With the rules change during the offseason, intent is also taken into account. I was looking at tidefans.com and they are all whining about the officials calling everything on bammer and nothing on the Vols. I wonder what game they were watching.

you have to remember they are not very familiar with having penalty flags thrown AGAINST them… it’s confusing for them…

"Nobody makes me bleed my own blood. Let's bounce Michel!"

I honestly thought it was targeting, and was surprised when they stated it wasn’t. But it’s called so inconsistently, I’ve seen much less called and upheld. Regardless, I hate the rule, it’s way too subjective. And ejection is way too harsh an outcome

The targeting rule in general does a poor job of what its intended to do. It flags inconsequential hits and let's some hit go that you would really want out of the game from a safety perspective. It needs to be fixed for that alone.

But the bama tears, absolute lmao

It’s not his fault he can’t see. The view from his 5ft 3in more than 50 yards away appeared to be targeting. Eat **** Little Nicky there is a new sheriff in town! 😂

Bammers are too stupid to think about the types of penalties called on them, instead they focus solely on the sheer number and use that as justification they were screwed. When you break down the penalties by the actual calls it’s easy to see that many of them were not judgment/subjective calls.

1) False Starts = 4
2) Delay of game = 2
3) Defensive offsides = 2
4) Illegal substitution (too many men) = 1
5) Illegal substitution - declined

9 of their 17 penalties were of the mental/discipline variety that can only be blamed on themselves (and the crowd) while a 10th mental mistake was declined. They had a combined 6 penalties for holding or pass interference which are the two most judgment/subjective based calls in football and could be called on every play. It’s time that Bammers accept that this is a poorly coached, undisciplined team, especially on the road.

I also would like to add that pass interference is probably by design. Because college PI is not a spot foul, and we tend to rack up yards off of big plays, defenses are going to be encouraged to attack our wide receivers more often than not. Likely, this is encouraged by defensive staff of other teams. No coincidence that bama had so many PIs. Sorry if already discussed.
