Bama submits play for league office review

Instead of crying to Sankey, they should be teaching their defensive backs how to cover a receiver without tackling him before the ball gets to him.

Someone may also need to tell the West Virginia Wonder that you can't cover Hyatt man-to-man with a safety. Maybe the genius should have adjusted at some point early in the first half when even his dead grandma could see how Heupel was using and abusing him.

White Goodman knows he's dealing with a Brown/Walsh/Spurrier-level offensive mind and he doesn't like getting exposed. When that happens, he shows himself to be the biggest baby at an institution known for producing intellectually-challenged bedwetters.

Spurrier called it years ago...

Steve Spurrier takes a jab at Nick Saban’s success at Alabama

Asked about Saban’s recruiting prowess, Spurrier said, “It’s got a little bit to do with Alabama, and little bit to do with the way they do it as well or better than anybody.”

Blue font for Spurrier's dripping sarcasm.

With a level playing field, this Kent State Clown is going to get exposed again and again and again by coaches who know how to put points on the board.

Can the SEC decide it's targeting and suspend him for the first half of the next game? At least that would be Martin.

Reminds me of Buch Showalter Mets manager former Nashville Sounds happen to like him but he called out the Sandiego pitcher for ball moving too much . Be a big boy take your spanking Nicky . Don’t be a crybaby.

I thought it was a target and that he'd be ejected, but it gets called differently all the time. I've said for years that the ejection needs to be taken out of the equation and let the league office review and hand out suspensions on Sunday. There's too much open to interpretation to figure it out in a quick review during the game.

What He said..

The face masks might have grazed but the impact was a shoulder in the chest. Wasn't this play reveiwed during the game?
It was reviewed during the game, and from the other angle you can clearly see it was his shoulder pad that went into his chest, with the top of his shoulder pad and back of his helmet that hit Young's face mask. Clearly not targeting.

Yes it was and the announcers agreed with it as a shoulder in the chest. These turds just can accept defeat, can they?

PS. How many times has Bama got calls go their way? Seen the first half of the Texas game?

In fairness I think Nick should send clips of this year and last, and let them SEC determine which one is the most likely a target. I mean, I know all they're wanting is fairness, right?

To be fair, I thought for sure that it would be targeting and was shocked when it wasn’t… Not intentional of course, but it seemed to meet the definition. Not complaining but I can see why they were mad… Bryce got up just fine though so it’s not like it hurt him.

One of the TV replays showed that Thomas got him with his right shoulder in Bryce’s left chest area. Big man moving at speed into little Bryce is going to cause that head forward whiplash most every single time. It appeared like incidental helmet contact after/as a result of the initial shoulder contact. It was a bang-bang play but CBS did a pretty good job showing the various angles.

This. When it happened I was convinced he was gone because they kept showing the view from field-level which looked really bad. I thought the replay they showed from the SkyCam was the best angle, and it was clear that the shoulder contact to the face mask was incidental. It just goes to show that things aren't always what they seem.
