Didn't Bama have another big textbook scandal with players when Saban first arrived there?

Edit -- Nevermind. Opened the OP's link and saw that this article is connected to the violations from 2007.

hey.. i think the ncaa should allow this infraction without any penalty whatsoever. i mean the fact there are now books in the state of Alabama and apparently people who may be actually able to read them is a great thing for that state....lol ..Round the bowl and down the hole, Roll Tide Roll

If it's deemed a major violation, and if the timing of it puts it during 'Bama's probation, it qualifies for the death penalty.

Just sayin'.....

On a related note, what ever happened to the Reggie Bush issue at USC? I heard about it for a while, his parents supposedly got thousands of dollars, then I don't remember anything about it. I may have missed it, so sorry if it is old news.

Didnt this happen almost 2 years ago? This isnt "rare"....football players got friends books all the time when I was in school.

I was checking some Bama boards earlier...they think the NCAA should just leave them alone because there are bigger things to take care of :)

The death penalty for bama would be soooooo nice.
Don't see it happening on this one though.
