This fits the known Alabama cheating cycle: poor onfield performance, pay players, on field production increases, caught cheating, sanctions, and back to poor onfield performance. rinse and repeat.

When I was younger, I'd dream about winning the lottery and think about all the stuff I'd buy.

Now that I'm older, I dream about winning the lottery and think about all the stuff I'd pay off.

Oscar is on the same page as we are....

Hopefully, this thread results in a series of serious exchanges. I'm well aware that Bama along with some other programs have reputations of cash-luring prized players. What I wonder about is if the latest player, the one with the girl's name, Dee Liner, has sparked a genuine investigative proof that this continues at Bama. It's not just the dumb exhibiting of cash a kid from an underprivileged background typically doesn't legally have access. It's the hashtag used to twit as well. Question: Who are the other two guys?

I can't clearly see the bills but they look like wads of 100's. If so, it looks like as much as maybe $10K-$15K if not more.

Finally, whether they got the money legally or not, it never ceases to amaze me how dumb these kids are. You flash money like that and you draw both flies and hornets. Flies are hanger ons, sudden friends who are your friends as long as you have money. Hornets are people who will beat or even kill you to get their hands on your money. Out of sight, out of mind means nothing to these nitwit kids. OK, back to the point, do you think this will spark a fully investigative NCAA or other agency into Bama cheating?

First, this is going to get merged, just like the other threads that got started by folks too lazy to look a little further down.

Second, your premise is pretty faulty, in that the wad of cash the guys are holding has one $100 bill on top and a bunch of twenties behind it. So, at most, it's around 1,000 bucks. And I may be overshooting it since I don't feel like trying to count the number of bills in the picture. So if Bama is buying top ranked defensive ends for $1,000 in cash, then that's on everyone else for being stingy.

Third, the other two guys aren't football players. No one seems to be completely sure who they are, but one would assume they are a couple of Liner's friends.

To your question, will the NCAA investigate a player posing with $1,000 bucks in cash? Money that he could have made working a few weeks of part time for minimum wage? No. No they won't.
