Bandwagoning in the NCAA???

There is a huge form of bandwagoning in the South. It's all of this "team SEC" crap like somehow it helps Tennessee if one of the teams we compete with win a championship.

It helps the lower tier SEC teams (like UK and Vandy) the most when SEC teams win (look at UK's recruiting if you need an example of how) also the SEC will make unprecedented amounts of money when the SEC Network is wrapped up - that helps every member institution with money to upgrade facilities and fund non-revenue sports. You may hate when LSU or Florida win but their winning has helped everyone.

That isn't even why I cheer for the SEC tho, I cheer for the SEC because I'm from the south and if my team can't win it, I'd rather a Southern school win.

Golden Flake FTW

It's Southern pride for me as well. I loved living in Michigan while the SEC smacked everyone around.

Chesney is a UT fan.

He's known to wear gear of other teams when he's playing shows in their cities though. Nice way to sell a few more albums.

I agree with this 100%....most people fail to realize that he's a money making machine and if for 1 night I had to wear a Bama jersey to make a million dollars, then I would do it too...
