Well, my guns are ready. I have an appointment to pick them up Saturday morning. I do not know if the gunsmith will be at the shop, available to discuss my guns. I don't know what written report may be provided. Both are in working order and have been cleaned (expensive).
The shop reports that the smith has deemed the Fulton sound for use. The Remington 1900 has Damascus barrels, and I'm not about to shoot a 110-115 year old shotgun with Damascus barrels, not even with low load black powder ammo. It's not worth risking a hand, an eye, or my life.
Likely, I'll take the Fulton to Etowah Valley Sporting Clays, try my hand at skeet and trap. I'll report back on my experience there.
