Less intimidating and like shooting a pellet gun. .22 then .380 if she wants.

It’s a good start. Most of the 380s are a smig snapy The Red Woman has a compact 9. It’s baby blue.

Load out with hollow points in the 22 mag...

It’s better than nothing but the 22 mag still doesn’t have the stopping power to be a good self defense round. If it gets her to a place where she feels safer around a gun then it’s a good start.

Shoot them 30 times and still not stop them. Ballistic gelatin tests say it’s not a good concealed carry gun.

I read a comment from a cop he said he saw 6 people shot by the 22WMR and none made it and 1 was his partner.

Look at your stats and look at the self defense gurus. Absolutely nobody recommends the 22lr or 22mag for self defense unless you just don’t have any thing else. And no the 22 mag will not punch police body armor

I don't know where the cop got shot but that bullet bounces around in the body and the 40 grain will go over 1400fps . I wouldn't run at someone with 30 rounds of 22 wmr you want to let someone shoot at you with a Kel tec pmr 30?

It doesn’t penetrate.
No self defense expert recommend it. Not one. zero.

It’s part of my training method. Every two shots should be on top of each other then start a new set
