If it’s a 16 a5 it could be valuable. Not that you’d ever sell it.
I've been looking at O/Us for hunting. Some O/U "meat guns" are of ambidextrous design and relatively affordable with five chokes. New 12-gauge Stevens Savage 555s can still be had for ~$700. New 12-gauge CZ Redhead Premiers have crept up over $1K. Used ones with all their chokes and in very good to excellent condition can be found for <= $900. Given my long gun leftiness, if I'm going to acquire another shotgun, an O/U may be my best option. What say you?
only ever owned one O/U, which was a junk Boito 20 ga. It was what I could afford at the time and it is long gone. the primary downside of hunting with an O/U is the weight of carrying two barrels, which is why most upland game bird O/Us are lighter weight. I assume most turkey hunters want to use 3" magnum shells and doubt those would feel good on the shoulder with a lighter weight shotgun. If you plan to stay in one spot and let the turkeys come to you, I guess weight would not be so much of a big deal. They are pretty guns.
Effective?
Meh.
Why when there are so many other options available for a small amount of money. You can get a single shot 410 Mossberg for 200$ brand new
