LOL .. some people on here just think you put the sneakers on and go out on court ...

If he plays this year he should have the O down by 2/01/20 we play Miss State on road maybe could get 5 to 10 minutes, then Bama on road maybe the same, then UK at home the same. Then Arkansas at home 02/11/20 if he's ready this should be game to give him 20 to 25. It's all up to Barnes and him, should know one way or another by February IMO.

We could just run a motion offense when he’s in and that way he doesn’t have to learn all the plays. Maybe just teach him some quick hitters.

As a former HS Coach the Barnes System is based on Cuts , High Screens, Pick and Roll and Curls from the Wing. There is a high degree of movement but Growing up in Germany and watching International BB, much of what Barnes utilizes is quite relatable to the Basic System SV has experienced. Go ahead and bash away but I do believe you wiser the young man sooner than later. This of course depends upon the Clearing House, SEC and Pokey NCAA. Am I saying he will come in and play day one? I truly think testing him in whatever Non Conference Games or game we have left would give us a view of what his understanding would be. I like his film ! Quick not Bone Speed but has a superb Ball Handling Skills. I do not think Barnes will waste a year but I think he will test the waters pretty early with SV. Not trying to argue with anyone... Merry Christmas Volnation!

Barnes is killing it recruiting this year. I’m a UT fan. You’re the one with the FACTS to make me out as someone who is wishing Barnes would fail. Ive complemented his successes. I’m glad to have him here. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna drink his bath water. I don’t KNOW how the minutes he was putting on Lamonte matters. I don’t KNOW the way they handled the Burns and Kent situation. I ASSUME Bone had some friction with him. I ASSUME his medical staffer f’d up Lamonte’s situation.

Why would anyone bash? Truf is truf.
You seem like someone who could actually carry on an intelligent conversation with those who don't understand why losing a high volume distributor and a guy who could actually direct his guys into the movement so needed for this offense to work, will be hard to replace in the space of a couple of games.

Not going to bash, and the only thing I will disagree with is the timing relative to the schedule and Barnes testing the waters. If Vescovi plays a single minute in a game, he loses eligibility to redshirt. And we will already be into conference play, so no OOC games to test him out in. That will all have to come in practice.

Don't quite understand. This kid is an 18 yo incoming freshman, not a waiver candidate. NCAA should only be clearing his transcripts and test score. This should be more akin to Stokes than Plavsic.

I agree! That said, the denial on Uros was a joke! Fields appeared in a number 4 games and it is cleared . Uros takes a RS and denied, just thinking the NCAA caters to Football or popular programs. JMO.

Nothing personal but I don’t need to be lectured by you. If you don’t like me use the ignore feature. It works. I have t had to endure Chris’ garbage for a while. It’s bliss. The fact is you guys like it. You enjoy having an antagonist you can pile on. I’ve seen it over and over.
