Either every other power school in the country is wrong or Calhoun just wasted a scholarship. They beat Drake for that player.

I was just about to ask about this. I don't follow bball recruiting that much just saw it pop up on ESPN last night that a C from TN committed to UCONN. What gives?

Sometimes coaches see something in a player that no one else seems to see and it works out. I don't remember many people thinking Chris Lofton was a top recruit and look how that turned out.

mmhmm. Tubby let him walk on out, and torch us for 4 years.

He over looked Chris lofton, but somehow thought it was a good move to bring in JP Blevins and Brandon Stockton from the 4th region during his tenure. Liked the man as a coach, but recruiting was lackluster.

Thats how things work out sometimes.

i hope we lead for pinkston i have not saw that we lead for him anywhere,and i think we have a great shot at tobias because he wants to play the position that tyler smith plays and i can see that happen and cj leslie would be awesome to get tobias ,leslie and pinkston i would say the vols had a great chanch for 5 out of 6 sec east titals.6,8 c kenny hall power foward point 6,8 tobias harris,and 6,8 cj leslie 6,5 scotty hopson 6,2 tra golden,2nd team goins,tatum,pinkston,hopefully negadu,brian williams

Although I don't agree with Hat's distaste (possible hatred) for Bruce Pearl or the skill level of Melvin Goins, his knowledge and realism on the state of the program are usually spot on.
