Battle 4 Atlantis info

Was doing some research on the teams, trying to get an idea of the other teams in the field. Was actually pretty surprised because at first glance I though Tennessee and Kansas were clearly the favorites, but that's definitely not the case. Villanova and Iowa are both in many preseason Top 25's and expected to be good teams. Xavier while not in the preseason Top 25, is expected to make the dance this year and be an improved team. Really the only teams that aren't expected to be tourney teams are USC, Wake Forest ad UTEP. Obviously Enfield is at USC so who knows what they may be able to pull off, and UTEP has a pretty good coach in Floyd.

I expect Xavier to be on the opposite side of the bracket, and I hope kansas is too. Regardless though, definitely some better competition than I originally thought.

So we might be playing Xavier twice this year? Also I'm excited to see how well Barton guards Semaj Christon...if we play Kansas who will guard Sheldon, and who will guard Wiggins? I'm assuming Richardson/Wiggins...McRae/Sheldon???

My guess is we will only see one of those 2 schools. Xavier will be in the opposite bracket since we play them later this year, and I'm thinking Kansas will likely be on the opposite side as well.x

I'm guessing our first round game will be against USC, WF, or UTEP. We do not want to face UTEP. With Memphis gone, I'm expecting them to win CUSA this year. The team can really shoot the 3 and will have the size advantage against us in the post. Even if we avoid them in the first round, I would not be surprised to see them upset Iowa or Vill.

BTO, I went last year. Staying at Atlantis is the only way to GUARUNTEE you get into the games. The only time that ticket booth is set up is if a game isn't already sold out by guests staying at Atlantis. The venue that they play in isn't very big. It's sort of like a ballroom. I would highly suggest paying the extra money and staying at the Atlantis resort.

1 question....

Did you pretend to be a Vols fan the entire time you were there?

5* guard Isaac Hamilton will not enroll at UTEP and wants to enroll at USC to he closer to his sick grandmother. UTEP has denied his release, but he has appealed it and is waiting to hear back.

Sounds like a great trip. I was really really considering going but I had a business trip in DC around the same time and couldn't miss it. Now that my meeting plans have been finalized..it's actually the week after so I could have went lol. I done blew my vacation money because I'm having a child in about 3 weeks so I can't book it now.

I wish I could have taken my grandfather on a trip like this. Awesome idea and props for doing something so nice for your dad!

Oh and 200.00 a DAY for food? Are you kidding me? ROFL. That's ridiculous.

Yea to eat there is ridiculous, easily 50pp a meal. Neither of us really care much about gourmet meals or anything so well be just as happy with a burger or pizza from somewhere close by lol.

No reason we can't make the final if we're healthy.

I'd never expect us to beat Kansas, but it'd be fun to go against Wiggins, don't you think? I would love to see how our guys do against him.

Wiggins, Sheldon, and the highly rated C KU has are all extremely talented. But they just started playing together. I like our experience over their talent. But Self is a top 5 coach so it will be a huge challenge for Coach Zo.

This is the first year I feel confident no matter who we play. We have the talent to beat any team in the country...now if we do it is another question lol

Here's the real bracket FYI, kind of confusing set up or it might just be me.
