I love our draw, but johnnybravo won't

Well UTEP did get a little easier if Isaac Hamilton gets his waiver from his LOI. UTEP will still be a good team this year and will compete for the CUSA championship, IMO. They are a very good 3 pt shooting team and will have more size in the post than us. It will be a good test early in the season for TN, but one we should win. In short, I believe we are playing a NCAA tourney team as our first round opponent. I'd prefer to get our feet wet that early in the season with an easier opponent first round, but it looks like our OOC schedule needs all the help it can get, so let's take care of UTEP.

I keep seeing you mention this with them??? Their returning players shot an average of 31% from 3 as a team.

Their best 3 pt shooters did grad. last year, but they still have Cooper and Moore that shot at a very good percentage last year. I expect them to start getting more of the shots since they no longer have Streeter and Tucker who combined took a majority of them last year. Their big guy has shown that he can step out and hit a few if left alone. Their average as a team last year was about the same average that McRae shot for us. Floyd, IMO, is a pretty good coach. He will have the right guys shooting the ball.

Doesn't have anything to do with the Vols, but BFA 2014 schedule released and Good Lord what a good field. At least name recognition wise. Not sure how good each school will be next year

North Carolina, Georgetown, UCLA, Florida, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, UAB and Butler

“@JonRothstein: Big Iowa news. Josh Oglesby breaks foot. Out six weeks, per the school. Tough blow for the Hawkeyes who needed outside shooting.”

Hawkeyes coach Fran McCaffery said Oglesby broke a bone during practice Wednesday and was set to have surgery Friday.

Oglesby is one of Iowa's top perimeter shooters even though he struggled last season.

Oglesby, a native of Cedar Rapids, made 42 3-pointers last season but shot just 27.4 percent from the field.

Freshman Peter Jok could take Oglesby's place as a shooter off the bench when Iowa opens its season Friday against UNC-Wilmington.
Interesting. Sounds like McBee v2
