In the last 12 months, UT, Baylor, & Ababubba each have allowed a football scholarship athlete to transfer in who proved to have a propensity to abuse women. Each should have handled the situation better.

I do not blame Briles for letting the justice system run its course before he decided what to do with SU. SU never played a down for BU, so bamawriter's feigned indignation is a bit dramatic IMHO.
disclaimer/possible conflicts: I bleed orange, married a Baylor grad, & buck fama goes without saying.
#1. I haven't criticized Briles specifically. I am of no delusion that a head coach at a major college program handles the vetting of a transfer player. His comments were a tad ill-thought, but he is in good company there.
#2. Baylor had a legal obligation that did not allow them to wait until the judicial process played itself out. They failed in that obligation.
#3. There is nothing feigned about my indignation toward rapists and woman-beaters, nor the people who go to bat for them simply because they are good at a sport. If you doubt that, GFY.
